Return, Exhange & Refund Policy

Returns Policy

Need to return or exchange? no problems we completely understand and we will do our very best to ensure that you are completely satisfied! 
Please read our Return and Exchange Policies detailed below. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.  

What is the timeframe for return?

You will only be eligible for a refund if the product arrives back to us within 14 business days from the day the order was originally delivered. You must also notify us by email of your intention to return with the reason and include a tracking number of the parcel along with a copy of your receipt. If we receive the item(s) back 15-20 days of the day the order was originally delivered, you will be eligible for store credit to badbettycouture.com.au only. If the return arrives after 21 days of the day the order was originally delivered, credit or exchange will be void. 

What can't be returned?

  • Item(s) that are marked as "SALE” cannot be returned for refund, however we are happy to exchange or provide store credit for Bad Betty Couture as long as it is returned within the specified timeframe as specified above.
  • All item(s) must have all tags attached and must be sent back in their original packaging. 
  • Lingerie and Shapewear which have the protective wrapping but has been removed by the customer are not returnable due to hygiene reasons.
  • Any altered, soiled, worn, washed, or customer-damaged items will not be returned and will be shipped back to you at your own cost and no refund will be issued.
  • If we can't reach you via the contact information you have provided within 14 business days from when you initially received the item in question to purchase a postage charge to send the un-refundable item back to you, the item will be destroyed and refund will not be issued.

 What can be returned?

  • Any items that have not been outlined in the "What can't be returned" list. Items that have all tags attached and in the same condition as sent by Bad Betty Couture are eligible for refund if purchaser contacts Bad Betty Couture and the items in question are returned to us within 14 business days.
  • Any returns received by us between the 15-20 business days are eligible for store credit only.
  • Bad Betty Couture is not responsible if the items get lost in mail. We therefore advise customers to send all packages with tracking and to advise us of the tracking number once attained.
  • Postage cost is non-refundable, unless we ship an item in error.
  • Any returns will require the customer to be accountable and to pay for return postage.
  • Returns on orders that were granted free shipping will be subject to a reduction from the refund or store credit to the amount that we paid $15 for single items or group items $30.

What is the return procedure? 

  • Contact one of our friendly support team members at Bad Betty Couture ASAP. You can contact us via the contact us form or via Facebook messenger.
  • You will need to advise us of the reason for the return and a customer service member will provide you with a Return Authorisation number.
  • We will then advise you of the address you will need to send your item(s).
  • Once we receive and validate the return we will contact you and advise you of the store credit or refund. Store credit will remain as a balance in your account or refund will be returned to the original payment method used (credit card or bank account). Please take note that we will endeavour to to process this as quickly as possible but it may be conducted within 7-10 business days once item(s) has been received and inspected by us.

Exchange Policy

Bad Betty Couture wants you to be happy with your purchase after all our clothing is all about the right fit for everybody. If for some reason your item(s) arrives damaged, not as described, or just isn't the correct size for you, please contact our customer service team and we will happily replace any applicable item(s). Please note a $3 admin fee will be withheld in addition to any discounts given for postage.

What is the timeframe for exchange?

If for some reason the item(s)received is not the right fit for you, you must contact Bad Betty Couture within 5 business days (Monday - Friday) and advise us of the required size so that we can hold the alternate size for you until we receive your item. If the desired size is unavailable at the time of contact you are welcome to exchange for any other item of the same value or for store credit at Bad Betty Couture only. Please contact us via the contact us form to make the arrangements.

  • You have 20 days from the date your order is delivered to return the item back to our headquarters located in Ramsgate, NSW. Please note the item must arrive back here within 20 days to qualify for an exchange). If the item arrives after 20 days from the date the order was originally received by you (the customer), the item(s) will be refused. Once you receive the exchanged item, the same rules apply if you need to return or exchange it (if you need to return the exchanged item, you will have the usual 14 business days from date of delivery to qualify for a refund, otherwise you have 15-20 days to qualify for exchange or store credit).
  • We will require a copy of your receipt in order to be eligible for exchange.

 What can't be exchanged?

  • All merchandise must have all tags attached and must be sent back in their original packaging and without shipping labels affixed to the actual items. 
  • Lingerie and Shapewear which have the protective wrapping but has been removed by the customer are not exchangeable due to hygiene reasons.
  • altered, soiled, worn, or customer damaged items will not be eligible.
  •  Any altered, soiled, worn, washed, or customer-damaged items will not be returned and will be shipped back to you at your own cost and no exchange or store credit will be granted.
  • If we can't reach you via the contact information you have provided within 14 business days from when you initially received the item in question to purchase a postage charge to send the un-exchangeable item back to you (due to the list mentioned above), the item(s) will be destroyed and no refund/ exchange/store credit will be issued.

What can be exchanged?

  • You must contact us and send the item(s) within the stipulated timeframe.
  • To be eligible for an exchange, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
  • Customers will be accountable for postage costs and to pay for any extra postage costs for exchanging size, colour, change of mind or for an alternative item. You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs when exchanging your item. We will deduct postage fees for us to send the exchanged item back to you as well as the difference if you exchange for a higher value item.
  • To avoid disappointment or sizing issues we encourage you to double check your measurements against the size charts for all items (please remember each designer and sometimes items have different sizing). If you have questions concerning sizing, we encourage you to contact us before making the purchase to ensure you get the best fit.
  • We recommended that you return your items with tracking (the same way as we send it to you). We are not responsible for any packages lost by postal carriers.

What is the Exchange procedure? 

  • Contact us ASAP within 5 business days and advise us of the desired size and (colour if applicable).
  • We will then advise you of the address you will need to send your item(s).
  • Once we receive and validate the returned item(s) we will contact you and advise you of the tracking number once the order has been shipped. If you have requested for store credit it will remain as a balance in your account. Please take note that we will endeavour to process this as quickly as possible but it may be processed within 7-10 business days once item(s) has been received and inspected by us.
